Bradenton police: 30-year-old man dies following heart attack, no foul play suspected

BRADENTON -- A 30-year-old man went into cardiac arrest and died Wednesday night while drinking with a friend, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

The homeless man was drinking at a residence in the 1500 block of 8th Avenue West when he went into cardiac arrest at 10:48 p.m., police said.

The man was dead on scene when police arrived, according to a release. Police said they found no signs of foul play, but they did see evidence of narcotics use.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
