Easter Seals Southwest Florida salutes donors, volunteers

BRADENTON -- Easter Seals Southwest Florida honored donors and volunteers recently at its first Easter Seals Recognition Luncheon at Sara Bay Country Club.

Among the supporters recognized were Virginia Judge, Stuart Roth, Robert Vecchione, Larry Heiny, Carol Hopkins, Ken Braley, Mary and Roger Rex, Ed Cauley, family members from the Frank Drapczynski Memorial Fund, and Karen Lynch from Applebee’s.

“It is through the generosity of our volunteers and donors that we are able to continue to provide exceptional services to children and adults with disabilities in our community,” said Ladd Waldo, Easter Seals Southwest Florida chief executive officer and president. “We can never thank them enough for their gifts and hard work.”

Easter Seals Southwest Florida began in 1946 as Happiness House for children with disabilities and their families. Presently, programs include therapies, activities and opportunities for children and adults with disabilities.
