A bow to Melody Dietz, administrative assistant to Dr. Enrique Fernandez.
She was on an errand recently when she saw 71-year-old Mary Weiss wandering the nearby parking lot.
Mary had left another doctor’s office, but was lost. She’d inadvertently parked two blocks away and couldn’t find her car.
It was hot, too.
“I was ready to pass out,” Mary said.
So Melody pulled up, offered to help and drove the woman to her car.
“A guardian angel,” said Mary, who sent her a dozen roses and a glowing letter to her boss.
“So many times you help somebody and you don’t get a thank you,” Melody said. “I help when I can.”
