New restaurant donating today’s sales to Haiti

BRADENTON — There will be an official ribbon-cutting 3 p.m. today at the Royal Rajasthan Fine Indian Cuisine, 3506 First St. W.

Owner Vicky Singh and his family will donate all of today’s sales to help relief efforts in Haiti.

After last week’s earthquake, Singh wanted to help and met with Rev. Jean Claude Presendieu of Bethesda Haitian Evangelical Church in Bradenton.

On Tuesday, Singh’s family brought relief supplies to the church.

On Wednesday, his children broke open their piggy banks and told Singh they wanted to pay for their meals today and donate their money, as well.
