A birthday, departure for Team Kinnan

While grandpa has been busy preparing his football team for tonight’s Class 5A state championship game, future Manatee Hurricane Jay Kinnan turned 6.

n Say it ain’t so! Brian Schultz is one year shy of the Big 5-0! Daughter Kristine is 20.

n Jennifer Starcher, a 2003 BHS alum, graduates with honors Saturday from UCF with a masters in elementary education.

Parents Mike and Tracy, sister Kelly Jo and grandma Fran Myers are proud.

n MSA freshman Lauren Pierce is 15 Tuesday, a driver’s permit isn’t far behind, and parents Fred and Lynn are in denial.

n Keep Jeanne Parrish in your prayers. The grand dame had a stroke Tuesday and is convalescing at Freedom Village.

n Spencer Tiedeman, a 2007 PHS alum, made FSU’s fall Dean’s List. Cheers from parents Barbara and Harry, aunt Nancy and uncle Joe.

n Ansley Boyd graduated from FSU with a degree in textiles and a minor in art history.
