University of South Florida to honor summer graduates Aug. 6

Summer University of South Florida graduates summer commencement in Tampa will include about 750 students at ceremonies set for 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 6.

The USF System will confer 2,924 degrees, including 88 degrees for USF Sarasota-Manatee graduates at the later exercise.

Special recognitions will include:

▪ Trustee Harold Mullins, president of the Trenam Kemker law firm, will receive the President’s Fellow Medallion.

▪ Loretta Ford will receive an honorary doctor of nursing degree.

▪ Patrick Mullen, will receive a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences, and the USF Alumni Association named him Outstanding Graduate.
