New mannequins at the State College of Florida, Manatee Sarasota will help students learn new skills.
The three new KERI Patient Manikins are designed specifically for medical programs and were purchased using a $2,850 grant from The Plantation Community Foundation of Venice.
The mannequins have lifelike range of motion and realistic patient positioning. They will be used on the SCF Venice campus.
The Plantation Community Foundation of Venice is comprised of residents of Venice’s Plantation community and surrounding neighborhoods, and members and employees of the Plantation Golf and Country Club, whose mission is to improve the quality of life in South Sarasota County, according to officials.
