Two men have been charged with breaking into four yachts at an Anna Maria Island marina — break-ins that were caught on video, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Those charged in the July 17 break-ins at Galati Marina, 900 S. Bay Blvd., are Tyler Hollingshead, 23, who faces three counts of burglary and one count of armed burglary; and Jacob Bennett, 18, who faces four counts of burglary and one count of dealing in stolen property.
Three more arrests are expected by the end of the week, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
During the break-ins, the burglars entered four yachts that were in marina’s dry dock area. The property taken including a shotgun and a handgun, according to the sheriff’s office.
