Gun safe with firearms, ammunition stolen in Bradenton burglary

BRADENTON -- Guns and ammunition were stolen during a burglary at a Bradenton home late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.

Authorities said there was no sign of forced entry into the home in the 2900 block of 24th Street West, but missing are a Sentry gun safe that contained two firearms and about 500 rounds of ammunition. An Xbox video game device also was stolen.
