SARASOTA -- Police have caught a man who allegedly made a bomb threat to a Texas Costco in Sarasota, according to the Sarasota Police Department.
Douglas Esposito, 52, of Woodlands, Texas, reportedly made a call to a Costco Wholesale Center on May 22 , telling an associate, “listen carefully; someone in the store has a bomb,” according to a release.
Texas deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office identified Esposito as the individual who phoned the bomb scare into the store and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Esposito was located and arrested on June 23 in the 1600 block of 9th Street in Sarasota, police said.
