Deputies investigate shooting at an occupied Palmetto home

MANATEE -- Deputies are looking for a suspect that fired at least eight shots at an occupied residence early Friday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

At 1:20 a.m. several rounds were fired into a home in the 1400 block of 24th Street East in Palmetto, according to deputies.

Two bullet holes were found on the east side of the home, two were found in the front and one was found on two separate vehicles parked in the driveway, according to a release. A total of eight bullet holes were located.

Deputies gave no information on possible suspects. No one was injured in the incident.
