BRADENTON -- The Bradenton Police Department reported a two-vehicle crash on 26th Street West in Bradenton Friday afternoon.
At 2:10 p.m. Friday, police tweeted that there was an accident in the road's 700 block. The tweet asked the public to use an alternate route and that a vehicle involved in the accident had rolled over.
According to Bradenton Police Captain William Fowler, it was a side-impact crash.
"One car struck the other car, making it flip over on its side," he said.
The person in the vehicle that was hit suffered minor injuries. Fowler said the person was treated on scene.
"I had two sergeants and a lieutenant out there," he said.
Fowler said by early Friday evening, the road was being cleared.
