Bradenton police arrest 3 men in marijuana bust; stolen property recovered

BRADENTON — Three men have been arrested in a drug bust, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

Xavier Walker, 33, Travon McNear, 19, and Breyon Pittman, 18, were arrested at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at a known drug house in the 2000 block of Seventh Avenue Drive East, Bradenton, according to the report.

Checking out a tip stolen items were being held at the home, detectives conducted covert drug transactions at the home.

When the BPD SWAT team served the warrant at the residence, McNear was reportedly bagging 258 grams of marijuana into bags for sale, according to police.

Police recovered items from recent burglaries. The men reportedly confessed to distributing the found drugs.

Walker and McNear were charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana and Pittman was charged with possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana.

All three men were being held in Manatee County jail on $1,500 bond each, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s website.
