BRADENTON — A Palmetto man has been charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Reginald Louis Hester, 20, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Manatee Avenue East, according to the report.
An officer stopped Hester because his car’s headlights, tail and tag lights were not on. The officer reportedly smelled marijuana coming from Hester's vehicle.
Hester said he just rolled up a marijuana blunt inside the car and it was inside a green Garcia Vega cigar packet, according to the report. The officer found the blunt, which had 7 grams of marijuana and five burnt marijuana roaches totaling 8 grams. In addition, police said the officer also found a plastic bag containing marijuana.
