Bradenton 21-year-old man in critical condition after Sunday collision

MANATEE -- A 21-year-old Bradenton man was in critical condition at Blake Medical Center after a two-car collision at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 2001 Hyundai Tiburon driven by 19-year-old Jacob Miller, with two passengers, was northbound on Richardson Way when it failed to negotiate a curve, crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a 2005 Ford F-150, according to a report by Trooper Bruce MacWhorter.

There were no skid marks.

Miller was uninjured and a 21-year-old woman passnger from Bradenton was uninjured.

Miller was cited for failure to use due care.

The 21-year-old man driving the F-150 was uninjured as was his 20-year-old woman passenger.
