Bradenton woman charged after 'finding' ball of cocaine

BRADENTON — A Bradenton woman has been charged with possession of cocaine, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

Lindsay Young, 26, was arrested at 12:23 p.m. Monday at her home, according to the report.

Checking out a report of a shooting, officers found Young at the home and she consented to a search, according to the report.

A tinfoil ball containing a plastic baggie with a white, powder substance in it was found in the armrest of the living room sofa, police reported. The powder tested positive for cocaine.
