Manatee County Sheriff's deputies looking for Bradenton suspect in armed robbery

MANATEE -- Deputies with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred Friday afternoon.

According to a report, the incident took place at 2:15 p.m. Friday in a parking lot at 4800 14th St. W., Bradenton. The juvenile victim was walking through the parking lot when the suspect drove up in a two-door yellow vehicle and approached her with a small, black handgun in his hand.

Deputies said the suspect pointed the handgun at the victim's head and said: "Give me everything you got." According to a report, the victim handed over her non-working iPhone 4S and $40. The suspect then fled in his vehicle.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Deputies checked the area but could not find the vehicle described.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, with light-brown curly hair, blue eyes, a tattoo on left forearm. He was described as wearing gray shorts and a black shirt, according to a report.
