MANATEE -- A man and a woman were robbed at a Bradenton motel early Wednesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The couple had just returned to the Siesta Inn, 2303 First St. E. about 2:44 a.m., when they were approached with three suspects, at least one of whom was carrying a gun. As they victims were exiting their car, two of the suspects, including the gunman, approached and demanded money and the car keys, according to a news release.
The male victim refused, and was struck on the back of the head with the gun and knocked to the ground. The victims and the gunman then entered the victims' room. The suspects took cash, a cell phone and a broken laptop computer and fled out the door, according to the sheriff's office.
The gunman was described as wearing black shorts, black T-shirt and a black mask. A second suspect was wearing blue shorts, an unknown T-shirt and was trying to hide his face with a white T-shirt. A third suspect was wearing a tank top.

Their car was described as a small black four-door vehicle.
