Juvenile robbed of bike while riding in Bradenton

MANATEE -- A juvenile was robbed of his bicycle by two suspects while riding in Bradenton on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The victim was riding in the 5500 block of 26th Street West, when he was approached by behind by the two suspects. They forced him off the bike and placed him in a choke hold. They took his bike and fled eastbound, according to a news release.

The victim was not injured.

The bicycle was a white 20-inch Haro BMX bike with blue rims and handlebars, according to the sheriff's office.
