Sarasota man charged with impregnating girl, 14

SARASOTA -- A 30-year-old Sarasota man with an extensive criminal record has been charged with impregnating a 14-year-old girl, according to Sarasota Police Department.

On July 17,a woman went to police to report that her underage daughter had given birth on June 24, and that the father was Henry Tyrone Coakley, also known as Henry Keno.

After an investigation, police on Wednesday arrested Coakley and charged him with lewd or lascivious battery and impregnation of a child. He was being held without bond at the Sarasota County jail.

Coakley has an extensive criminal history, with more than 80 arrests and 30 previous convictions, including 17 for felonies.
