MANATEE -- A 32-year-old man was shot to death early Saturday in the parking lot of a Bradenton strip club, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
At about 12:20 a.m., deputies responded to DaVinci's nightclub, 105 Cortez Road, where they found Natividad Faudoa in the parking lot. He was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to a news release.
As of Saturday afternoon, no arrests have been made but investigators have some good leads, said David Bristow, spokesman for the sheriff's office.
"We've had some real good cooperation from the employees and witnesses at the night club," Bristow said.
Investigators believe Faudoa and his killer had been involved in an altercation inside the club, and that the shooting happened outside, according to the sheriff's office.
Faudoa's death is the 11th homicide in Manatee County this year, and the second that investigators believe resulted from an altercation at DaVinci's.
Ruben Harris was found shot to death April 30 in the parking lot of a gas station at the corner of 301 Boulevard East and Ninth Street East.
Detectives believe Earl Scott followed Harris to the gas station after they got into an altercation at DaVinci's. They have obtained a warrant charging Scott with murder, but he has not been arrested. Anyone with information about Faudoa's death can call the sheriff's office at 941-747-3011 or CrimeStoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
