MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is seeking the whereabouts of a missing and endangered adult.
Chad McCrensky, 26, of the 12200 block of 23rd Street East, River Plantation, left home about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
His father advised the Manatee County Sheriff's Office that Chad is bi-polar,and did not take his medication. Chad became upset, stating that he cannot take it anymore, and began punching himself in the face.
McCrensky ran out the back door and fled north on foot without any shoes. The area was unsuccessfully searched by several deputies and the aviation units, the sheriff's office reported.
The missing man's friends and family members were contacted. All advised that they have not seen or heard from him.
McCrensky's father advised that Chad has done this in the past but always came home within a few hours.
Family members say they believe Chad will not come home this time due to him thinking that he will be arrested. He is on probation for domestic battery, the sheriff's office reported.
Chad McCrensky was last seen wearing a gray-and-red hooded sweat shirt and blue jean. He is 170 pounds, 5-feet, 10 inches tall, and has short brown hair and brown eyes.
