Palmetto man arrested after cops find cocaine in his home

MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Monday after they found about $14,000 worth of cocaine in his Palmetto home.

Daniel Deleon, 39, was arrested on three counts of cocaine possession and two counts of possession of drugs with intent to sell.

According to a search warrant executed at his home on the 500 block of 38th Street East, authorities found a rifle, some ammunition, $4,000, and 470 grams of cocaine, which has a street value of about $14,000.

Deleon was booked into the Manatee County jail. He is being held on $45,000 bond.
