MANATEE -- Two men were kicked and robbed by suspects who had asked them if they wanted to hire a prostitute, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 1:53 a.m. Sunday, the victims were sitting and drinking beers outside the back door to their apartment in the 1000 of 35th Avenue West, when they were approached by two men and a woman who asked if they want to do some "business," which the victim explained meant hire a prostitute, according to a news release.

When they declined, the suspects began punching and kicking the victims, and at one point reached into one of the victims' back pocket and took his wallet containing $300.
