MANATEE -- Three juveniles were arrested early Friday after witnesses spotted them breaking into vehicles in the West Glenn neighborhood in southwest Manatee, according to the sheriff's office.
The report came in about 1:15 a.m. that the suspects had been spotted in the 5100 block of 39th Street West, Bradenton. The sheriff's office responded with several deputies, including with helicopter and K-9 units that tracked the suspects as they ran through some woods into the Wildwood Springs condominiums, according to a news release.
Patrol deputies arrested two of the suspects, and a police dog apprehended the third. He was treated at Blake Medical Center before joining the others at the Juvenile Booking Facility.
Items taken during the break-ins were recovered, according to the sheriff's office.
