PALMETTO -- A fifth person has been charged with involvement in a Sept. 19 home invasion in Palmetto, according to police.
Karie Reynolds was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after she allegedly shoplifted from the Walmart store in Palmetto. While processing her, officers realized she was wanted on charges related to the home invasion, police sdaid.
According to police, Reynolds was involved in the planning of the robbery and arranged for two men who were in the house with the victim to leave and spend time with her while the robbery took place.
The robbery occurred at a residence in the 1200 block of 11th Avenue West, Palmetto.
Reynolds was being held without bond on a charge of home invasion robbery.
