BRADENTON -- The Bradenton Police Department is investigating a traffic accident in which a motorcycle driver lost his life early this morning.
The vehicle crash occurred approximately 12:30-12:50 a.m. on 19th Avenue West, just east of 18th Street West in Bradenton.
The driver of the motorcycle, Eric P. Cooper, 24, of Bradenton, was found dead after apparently colliding with a palm tree. Cooper was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on the 1700 block of 19th Avenue West, when he left the roadway and collided with the tree. Traffic Homicide Investigator/Officer David Sullivan is seeking anyone who may have witnessed the accident or who has information regarding this vehicle crash.
