MANATEE -- No one was injured in a fire that severely damaged a Bradenton house Sunday morning, according to Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue.
Emergency crews arrived about 10:19 a.m., four minutes after receiving a 911 call, at 4483 17th St. W., Bradenton, to find fire and heavy smoke coming from the carport and roof. No one was home at the time of the blaze, according to fire officials.
The fire was brought under control in 11 minutes.
The cause of the fire, which caused $25,000 in damage, remained under investigation. The home was valued at $60,000, according to officials.
