Bullet fragments hit three in Bradenton

BRADENTON -- A 15-year-old and 19-year-old were sitting in a truck Sunday afternoon when someone in a navy blue Buick four-door drove by and fired several rounds at their vehicle, according to a sheriff's office report.

The two young men and a woman standing by the car were struck by either fragments from the bullet or plastic from the Ford 150's door, detectives said. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of 60th Avenue Drive East.

All three declined treatment from Emergency Medical Services.
