Manatee sheriff's office: Drug sale leads to bump on the head

A man got a bump on the head after he and a friend were robbed when they visited an acquaintance to sell marijuana.

The victims went to the 1600 block of 48th Terrace West in Bradenton at 6:30 p.m. Sunday to sell the marijuana, but when they arrived two suspects approached them and demanded their money and drugs, according to a sheriff’s report.

One of the suspects pulled out a firearm and the victims handed over their wallets and a “1/8th” bag of marijuana, the report adds.

The suspects then hit one of the victims in the head, causing a small bump.

The suspects fled in a vehicle parked behind Lifestyle Gym, 4700 14th St. W., the report states.
