Man robbed in Bradenton

BRADENTON -- A man was walking to his girlfriend’s home when he was surrounded by three men and robbed of his personal belongings early this morning, according to a Bradenton Police report.

The man said he was in the 1400 block of 18th Street West about 4:54 a.m. when three men approached him after exiting a dark four-door vehicle, possibly red or black in color.

One of the assailants said, “We can do this the easy way or hard way,” before demanding his valuables, according to the report.

The man turned over the items.

The men left the in the car, which was last seen heading north on 18th Street West towards Ninth Avenue West.

The man was not injured, according to police.
