2 charged with Bradenton home invasion

MANATEE -- Bradenton Police arrested two local drug dealers after they rushed into a residence with two other men to collect payment for drug sale, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Louis Eric “E-40” Rue and Walter “Walt B” Barnes were arrested after a woman inside the residence picked both men out of a photo pack.

On Nov. 18, the four men came to the woman’s residence and knocked on the door. The woman’s boyfriend answered the door and they rushed inside. Barnes was one of two men armed with a gun, according to the affidavit.

They demanded money and threatened to tie up the woman and her boyfriend.

One of the intruders started punching and slapping the woman’s boyfriend. Nothing was taken.

The woman told police she owes the men money for drugs after she took $60 worth of drugs from Barnes and never paid him, according to the affidavit.
