MANATEE -- An 18-year-old man remains jail after he stabbed a man in a fight, causing the man’s lung to collapse, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.

Tarvis L. Lawrence had an argument Sunday with another man in the 5900 block of 11th Street East in Bradenton and punched the man multiple times, with the other man throwing punches back, according to the sheriff’s office.

Lawrence then brandished a knife from his pocket during the scuffle and stabbed the man in the back, causing the man’s lung to collapse, the sheriff’s office said.
