3 men charged with killing Fla. woman, 70

JACKSONVILLE — Three men have been charged with fatally shooting a 70-year-old Jacksonville woman and beating her with a concrete block.

According to arrest reports, Lola Edenfield Faulk’s grandson found her last year at her home. Her dog was also shot to death and thrown on top of her body.

On Monday, police said Raymond Wayne Breeden, Jeff Johnson, and George Peppard Landgraff were charged with murder and armed burglary. Authorities said Landgraff and Johnson knew the victim’s grandson and had been to her home several times.

Breeden was arrested while awaiting trial on unrelated armed robbery and firearm possession charges. Johnson has been serving an 18-month sentence for prescription drug fraud. Landgraff was caught in Louisiana and brought to Florida.
