MANATEE -- Two burglars were arrested this morning after they broke into a house in the Bayshore Gardens neighborhood and a teenager inside called authorities, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The 17-year-resident was home alone about 11:42 a.m. when Joshua J. Gordon, 20, and a 16-year-old who was not identified in a report knocked on the front door, and then moved to the side windows and then into the backyard of the residence in the 6000 block of Rollins Street.
"The suspects then used a screwdriver to pry open the door knob lock on the rear lanai door," a release states.
The resident went out the front door and waited for authorities.

Responding deputies determined the suspects were locked in a bathroom and ordered them to come out, which they did at Taser point, according to the release.
No tools were found on the suspects, but a deputy did find a screwdriver under a rug at the base of the toilet. There was also a small baggie that the suspects had dumped into the toilet, according to the sheriff's office.
