Authorities were searching for as many as three burglary suspects Wednesday night after $1,200 cash was taken from a residence in Holiday Heights, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies received the call at 9:22 p.m. about 30 minutes after the burglary had taken place. A victim was inside a room at the residence in the 5000 block of 20th Street West and initially thought visitors were over.
Deputies weren’t called until other family members arrived back home at the residence. No one was injured. No description of the suspects was available.
Deputies had a perimeter set up and used a sheriff’s dog to search the area.
