MANATEE - A homeless man reported he was robbed of his bicycle Thursday evening, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The victim was hanging out with another homeless man near Lowes, 4012 14th St. W., about 7:45 p.m.,when the second man punched him in the face and stole his bicycle.
The victim was not injured, and was unable to provide sufficient leads for detectives to investigate, according to the sheriff's office.
The stolen bicycle was described as a blue and white mountain bike.
The assailant was described as being between 40 and 50 years old, standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing a long-sleeve white shirt, camouflage jacket and blue jeans.
