'I Have a Dream' help requested this weekend

PALMETTO -- Samantha Wolfe, Manatee County Animal Service volunteer specialist, is asking for help Saturday and Sunday during the division's "I Have A Dream Adoption Special."

"I do need some of my wonderful volunteers at Palmetto this weekend since we are over capacity," said Wolfe referring to the county's animal shelter in Palmetto. She said she needs help screening adopters, showing dogs and keeping the place tidy.

The shelter, 305 25th St. W., Palmetto, is open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.

Volunteers able to arrive at 8 a.m. to help clean the kennels would be much appreciated, she said.

Email Sam.Wolfe@mymanatee.org if you are available, or call 941-742-5933.
