BRADENTON -- If there's no place like home for the holidays, Entre Nous, the Manatee County women's service club that is sponsoring the 37th annual Holiday Tour of Homes Saturday and Sunday, is offering a handful of opportunities to experience where the heart of Bradenton is.
The tour will visit Louis and Cristina Najmy's 3126 Riverview Blvd. home, coordinated by Eileen Blackburn and Kim Johnson; Tom Denslow's home at 2813 Riverview Blvd., coordinated by Jennifer Scott and Khris Denyes and the site of this year's Shoppes at Elf Alley; the home of Daniel and Anne Douglass, 2801 Riverview Blvd., coordinated by Teri Smith and Silvia Ayo; The Vintage House, 2004 Sixth Ave. W, the home of the Sweet Shoppe, chaired by Karen Soscia and Coroline Hoffner; and the home of Dr. Brian and Dr. Melinda (Lacerna) Kimbrell, 219 N. 18th St. W., coordinated by Carol Lewis and Tamara Venditti.
" ... none of this would be possible without the participation of the homeowners of our ... beautiful tour homes. We sincerely thank them for graciously allowing their lovely residences to be showcased in the 2014 Holiday Tour of Homes. Entre Nous is grateful for the loyal support of our sponsors, advertisers, and patrons," Paige Eller, Entre Nous president, said on the group's website. "We also would like to thank the local shops and florists who have kindly contributed wonderful holiday decorations as well as given so generously of their time to make the Tour of Homes special."
The tours run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and canned goods will be collected at each home to benefit the Food Bank of Manatee.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
