A cold front heading towards the Tampa Bay region was expected to drop nighttime temperatures in Bradenton into the mid-50s by Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Ahead of the cold front, showers were expected for the region starting Tuesday afternoon, forecasters said.
There was a 50 percent chance of rain Tuesday afternoon, and 70 percent on Friday evening. The high Tuesday was expected to 86, and low Tuesday evening, 73.
For Wednesday, there is a 50 percent chance of rain. The expected high is 86, and the low Wednesday night, 63.
On Thursday, there is no listed chance of rain, and the high was expected to be 83 and the low, 61.
And on Friday, the expected high was 83 and the low, 55, according to the Weather Service.
