MANATEE -- If it's August in Bradenton, it must mean another hot, sunny day with a half-way decent chance of rain.
That's exactly what the National Weather Service is forecasting for Tuesday.
Forecasters are calling for partly sunny skies, with a high near 91 -- and heat index values as high as 97. There's also a 40 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m.
Tuesday evening, skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 76. The chance of rain drops to 30 percent, mainly before 8 p.m., according to the Weather Service.
