MANATEE — Those who wanted to vote early waited patiently Friday in a two-block-long line in Bradenton.
The line was moving quickly, however, with some voters reporting that they had only waited 30-45 minutes.
Manatee Supervisor of Elections Bob Sweat said there had been no problems, except the long lines. He estimated that about 2,000 people per day had voted at Manatee’s sole early voting site, at 600 301 Blvd. W., Suite 108, since early voting began last Saturday.
Those who want to vote early can vote Friday until 7 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m.- 7 p.m.
