Thursday night, skies are expected to turn mostly cloudy, with a low of around 72 and north-northeasterly winds of 13 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
On Friday, winds and seas are expected to rise in the eastern Gulf of Mexico as Hurricane Sandy moves over the Bahamas, according to the Weather Service.
