MANATEE -- There is a 20 percent chance of isolated showers in Bradenton on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Otherwise, forecasters were calling for partly sunny skies and a high near 89, with east-northeasterly winds of 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. The best chance of rain is after 8 a.m.
Also, the Weather Service advised boaters to take caution, as a "pressure gradient" between high pressure to the north and Tropical Storm Sandy to the south will create winds of 15 to 20 knots.
For Wednesday night, forecasters were calling for partly cloudy skies and a low of around 71 and northeasterly winds of 11 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
