MANATEE -- Heavy thunderstorms are again possible Friday as showers over the eastern Gulf of Mexico move on shore, according to the National Weather Service.
The primary threat from the storms will be dangerous lightning, gusty winds and heavy rains causing minor flooding. The chance of rain is listed at 30 percent.
Forecasters are calling for mostly sunny skies and a high of 92.
The forecast low Friday is 77. The chance of rain is 20 percent.
