MANATEE -- There is a 50-50 chance of rain in the Bradenton area at least through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
As of 8:50 a.m., the Weather Service said there was a 40 percent chance of rain throughout the day Wednesday, and that the possibility increased to 50 percent chance Wednesday night. As much as a half an inch of rain could fall by midnight, according to the Weather Service website.
The expected high temperature Thursday is near 85, and the expected low is 71, with southerly winds of between 7 and 13 mph.
For Thursday, forecasters were calling for a 50 percent chance of rain and a high of 86 and a low of 69.
For Friday, forecasters said the chance of rain drops to 20 percent.
