MANATEE — A man who suffers from a mental illness has gone missing and authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating him.
Authorities are searching for Ronald Platt, 27, who was last seen on April 2, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report. Investigators say Platt has wandered away before but has always returned home.
Platt is possibly endangered and needs medication, the sheriff’s report said. He is 6 feet tall, around 180 pounds, with blondish brown hair.
