Motorcyclist died in Bradenton after hitting an SUV on Manatee Avenue, police say
A motorcyclist was killed in Bradenton on Friday night after crashing with an SUV on Manatee Avenue, according to a Facebook post from the Bradenton police department.
The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. near the Wawa at 7481 Manatee Ave. W.
According to police, a driver in an SUV made a left turn into the path of the oncoming motorcyclist. The motorcyclist died at the scene after colliding with the SUV.
The condition of the SUV’s driver was not reported. However, a passenger in the vehicle was taken to a hospital for treatment.
