Food pantries are here to help in Manatee County. Here’s where to find them

Food pantries in Manatee County have been kicking into high gear to serve those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

And thanks to donations from local organizations and government agencies, many are also offering hygiene and sanitization supplies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

There are currently more than 30 active food pantries in the area, according to Manatee County government, as well as mobile services including Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee and Feeding Tampa Bay.
