WHITFIELD -- A 104,000-square-foot warehouse and production facility once operated by Pro-Line Boats has sold to a Sarasota buyer for $1.35 million.
On June 18, TD Bank of New Jersey sold the former boat-building facility to The Real Estate Parking Co., a firm controlled by Sarasota real estate attorney David Bone. According to Manatee County property records, the 9.88-acre property at 7110 21st St. E. last sold in 2001 for $2.95 million when Pro-Line and a related company transferred the asset.
Pro-Line, which was owned by American Marine Holdings along with another former local pleasure boat builder, Donzi Marine, moved its operations to North Carolina in 2010, according to the company's website. Its Bradenton-area building was constructed in 1968, the year Pro-Line incorporated.
